The challenge
When seconds matter, response can't fail.
Most organizations rely on disconnected safety tools — cameras, panic buttons and alerts that don't share visibility. Scenes are chaotic, communication breaks down, and the injured wait.
Awhere unifies these systems into one real-time incident response platform, delivering instant alerts with live context so administrators, security, law enforcement and first responders can assess, coordinate and act — together.
Patent-pending technology that creates live incident "awareness" inside a specific location — or across a geo-fenced area — and puts actionable insight in the hands of the people ending the event.

Real-time, live floor plan
See every person, on the actual floor plan.
Upload the floor plan of any workplace, school, stadium or mall. Upon activation — live or simulated — every user within the space is marked on the plan and is identifiable and accessible.
Precise location. Real-time awareness of user positions for administrators and first responders.
Injury reporting. Users report injuries and where they occurred so medics can begin triage before they arrive.
Easy setup. Register a location, upload plans, set parameters and privately invite employees or parents en masse.
For public spaces — or when an event moves outside a specific location — Awhere uses geo-fencing to create a proximity grid. Every user with Awhere installed inside the fence instantly activates.
Open-air venues. Stadiums, campuses, shopping centers and public events covered from day one.
Accountability. With GPS on, authorized parties can track each user leaving a building or fenced area.
Early warnings. Notify nearby locations before an incident reaches them.

Create custom escape routes
Send the safe way out — to everyone, or one room.
Administrators and law enforcement can build and send safe emergency pathway instructions in real time. If an event is on the west side of a building, users on the east side receive a map showing exactly where to evacuate.
Targeted delivery. Send to all users in a location, or only to a single classroom or department.
Authorized only. Only delegated administrators, security managers or law enforcement can activate the system.
Acknowledgements. Know who has received instructions and who is still unaccounted for.

Program simulations
The world has never seen a real-time simulator like this.
Just as schools run fire drills, Awhere lets administrators construct logistically sound active-event drills — with a threat location, injured parties, duration and participants — then records every exchange for review and continued education.
Create, save, initiate. Setting up a simulation is as easy as 1-2-3, then review the data.
Real participants. On-site officers, security teams, parents and first responders join the drill directly.
Data aggregation. Know the location and extent of injuries before entering the building.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Awhere shows administrators and first responders the location of users within a building, enables group and direct messaging, video calls and streaming, and provides directions and protocol for safe exit pathways. Advanced features include a live floor plan, injury and medical background reporting, escape routes constructed by law enforcement, photo sharing, live video channels and live training simulations.
Administrators register with the Awhere network through an easy registration page where floor plans can be uploaded and parameters set. Most importantly, the registration process lets administrators privately invite their employees, students or parents en masse.
No. Only administrators or security managers delegated by the originating administrator — or law enforcement — can activate the Awhere system. Students and employees cannot activate it, but they can report an active threat or another incident such as a fire.
When an administrator activates "danger mode," the app activates on each user's device, enabling the advanced communication and locator features. Every user's GPS turns on so authorized parties can see and account for each person, including anyone leaving the building or geo-fenced area.
A safe passage is a map showing users inside an Awhere location how and where to exit safely. It is sent by authorized parties such as law enforcement — to everyone in a location or only to users in a particular area. If there is ample proof an event is on the west side of a building, law enforcement can send a safe passage to users on the east side showing where to evacuate.
First responders typically do not know what is happening inside during an active incident, and there is a delay in responding to injured parties. Awhere provides critical information to law enforcement and paramedics before they enter: where the injured are, the extent of each injury, and the ability to communicate with injured parties before entering an active event.
Administrators can create real-time event simulations within any registered location — a model featuring a threat, injured parties and their locations, the duration and more. On-site officers, security teams and first responders participate directly. Just as schools have fire drills, they can now run a logistically sound active-event drill, and Awhere records all data for later review and continued education.
The live video function allows law enforcement or administrators to remotely activate a user's camera anywhere within the activated location. The full-color, full-motion, high-resolution video is viewed by an authorized party and used to identify perpetrator locations and injuries, providing insight to determine next steps.
All administrative, user and event data lives on highly secured servers. Awhere is a privacy-compliant company: user data is never shared or sold to unauthorized parties, and data associated with children is strictly confidential in accordance with state and federal law. Individual user names are not displayed in an active area unless a location — such as a school or government building — chooses to enable that.
No. The Awhere app is 100% free for consumers, students and employees. We do not, and will not, ever charge the public to use the technology — no intrusive ads, no cost to end users. Organizations pay an affordable monthly platform license.
